Christine McFarlane works for Moranbah and District Support Services (MDSS), a not-for-profit organisation providing support and assistance to individuals, groups and families. Christine has watched closely as Bushlark Grove has become a part of Moranbah.
“Bushlark Grove has been a great success in Moranbah.”
“We’ve noticed a very community minded culture emerge. People get out and get involved and it really encourages participation and community spirit. There are some really great people living there and they’ll be the first to tell you how nice it is.
“It gives the community an excellent opportunity to enter the new home market.
Christine believes the community has particular appeal to families and those that love sport and the outdoors.
“We love the variety of housing within Bushlark Grove. There is a good range of choice for families of all sizes.
“We like seeing families come to Moranbah and be able to afford to buy a house from day one. The prices are realistic, and suitable for a variety of budgets.
“Children can play safely within Bushlark Grove. There is a lovely playground within the development and the roads are designed to prevent speeding and aid safety.
“It’s great for those who love their sport. Sporting fields for soccer, hockey, AFL, netball and tennis are within minutes, as are facilities for squash, boxing and gymnastics.
“It’s still got that rural feel, like you could be anywhere in the world.
“I’d love to buy in Bushlark Grove myself, but we’re saving for a massive family trip!
